HYDROIAM is a non-animal-derived medical sodium hyaluronate gel. Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring and important component found in the structure of skin and subcutaneous tissues, as well as in synovial tissues and synovial fluid. The hyaluronic acid in the human body can be naturally metabolized and degraded. All raw materials used in the production process of HYDROIAM contain no animal-derived components.

HYDROIAM is a sterile, transparent, viscous medical sodium hyaluronate gel intended for injection. This gel is contained in a single-use glass syringe sealed with a cone-shaped cap. The syringe connection uses a twist-lock mechanism. The gel inside the syringe is sterilized.

Mechanism of Action：

HYDROIAM is a dermal tissue filler that works by filling the facial skin to restore the surface contour of the skin, achieving a satisfactory corrective effect.

HYDROIAM gradually degrades in the human body, with a typical degradation period of 6 to 12 months after injection. As HYDROIAM degrades, the filling effect gradually diminishes. Patients who wish to maintain the filling effect may receive additional injections once the treatment effect becomes less noticeable or disappears.

Clinical trials conducted in China involved injections of HYDROIAM into the nasolabial folds of subjects, with most patients maintaining the treatment effect for over 6 months.

Indications：

HYDROIAM is used for mid-dermal facial tissue filling to correct moderate to severe nasolabial fold wrinkles. The injection is administered into the mid-dermal layer of the facial skin.
